Moola means “Root”, Bandha means “Lock” Meditation we seal the prana in the pelvic region and lift it upward for awakening the entire energy system in the body. It is related to Root Chakra. It reduces or relief in piles issues, remove the weakness of excretory organs and dispels with constipation. When we practicing Mula Bandha it creates awareness in the supportive musculature of the pelvis. It enhances the stability of the pelvis and it creates safe environment for spinal movement. It helps to purify, balances, and energizes the pelvic region. Mula Bandha or root chakra is located at the base of the spine. It provides the fulcrum on which we build our life representing safety, security and stability. It also represents the stage of consciousness where natural survival needs dominate. The root chakra also elevates and compresses the intestine and the lower part of the stomach. This creates a solid foundation from which a platform under the breath increases, decreases the pressure inside the torso and makes it possible to facilitate its movement. This chakra creates lightness and fluidity in the body, making our body less and more mobile than the earth. Mula Bandha strengthens and teaches the solid foundation that should underlie any movement.
